EVERYONE BLOGS ABOUT THANKSGIVING

So I cooked my first turkey this year. Which upon further inspection was just a turkey breast. For all of you who don’t know turkey breasts are real turkeys, but with their legs and insides missing. So what you are left with is all white delicious turkey meat. It went well, luckily the turkey had a pop up timer on it. This is a spring loaded device that is encased in a certain metal that will only melt when the turkey has reached it optimal temp. I found this out 4 hours in by googling "Do popup timers ever fail". I would say about 10 minutes later the thing popped up and all was well in the world again. After that the constants of turkey day kicked in I ate too much, drank just the right amount and felt severely groggy afterwards. We finished up the night by watching “Cowboys and Aliens” a movie where peaceful people’s lives are interrupted by foreign invaders who inevitably just want them dead, which was surprisingly appropriate. If the cowboys had brought the alien’s food and they had all sat down in the beginning of the movie for a meal, it would have been perfect.
